Usage and Biology
Since their discovery, fluorescent proteins have been used extensively in biology. mNeonGreen is a monomeric green fluorescent protein derived from Branchiostoma lanceolatum. It is the brightest monomeric green fluorescent protein described to date[1]. This protein was used as an expression reporter in BBa_M50003.
